On Tuesday 15 September 2026, the Vice-President of the Council of State, Marc Guillaume, hosted a Cambodian delegation led by its Deputy Prime Minister, Vissoth Vongsey, Minister responsible for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen ties between the two countries and to discuss the evolution of their institutional cooperation. Following the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Council of State and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Cambodia.
